We’re looking for a seasoned cleaner in George Town or the surrounding area who takes ownership, earns trust and delivers an exceptional finish.

Your day-to-day
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver detailed cleaning across residential, commercial, medical and allied-health premises, and builders’ or one-off cleans as assigned.
- Clean floors, kitchens, amenities, glass, stainless steel and high-touch surfaces to the required site standard.
- Follow checklists, site security procedures and safe product and equipment instructions, including infection-control requirements where applicable.
- Work efficiently without cutting corners; inspect your finished work and address anything missed.
- Report damage, hazards, mistakes and service issues promptly and honestly.
- Take responsibility for punctuality, accepted shifts, equipment and professional conduct at every site.

What you’ll bring to the team
Proven professional cleaning experience
You are a seasoned cleaner with exceptionally high standards, a sharp eye for detail and the ability to produce consistent results with minimal training in cleaning fundamentals.
Honest, trustworthy & accountable
Keep your commitments, take ownership of your work and report mistakes or concerns promptly. Respect client property, keys, privacy and confidentiality.
Highly competent van or SUV driver
Hold a current driver’s licence and a clean driving record. You must be confident and competent driving, parking and manoeuvring a van or small SUV safely between client sites.
Monday–Friday availability
Be available Monday to Friday for a variety of rostered shifts. Tell us your available times and any restrictions in the application form. Additional shifts may be available outside weekdays.
Professional, reliable & ready to work
Have dependable transport, communicate clearly, use mobile job-management apps and work independently or in a team. Relevant references and role-related pre-employment checks will be required.
A variety of shifts
Work may include daytime, afternoon, evening or night shifts, with occasional weekends according to client needs and agreed availability. Work independently or in teams of two or three across Northern Tasmania.
Monday–Friday availability is required; you don’t need to be available around the clock. Casual hours vary and specific or ongoing hours are not guaranteed. Roster expectations will be discussed during recruitment.
Room to progress
Start on a casual basis, with the opportunity to progress to permanent part-time. Any transition will be discussed based on suitability and business needs; it is not guaranteed.
