Heritage Property Restoration
Meredith House is one of Swansea's most recognisable heritage properties, originally constructed in 1853 on land associated with early East Coast settlers and prominent colonial figures. Throughout its history, the property has served a variety of purposes, including as a private residence, school, and guesthouse.
Today, Meredith House operates as distinctive heritage accommodation in the heart of Swansea, Tasmania, overlooking Great Oyster Bay with views toward the Freycinet Peninsula.
The Challenge
About 23 September 2022, a fire occurred in the rear flat of Meredith House, resulting in significant smoke and water damage to sections of the property. Following this incident, renovation works were completed by Paynters, an Australian-owned construction company with more than 70 years' experience. Once renovation was complete, OneTwoKlean was engaged to carry out specialist post-renovation and restoration cleaning.

Removal of all builder's dust and construction debris from multi-level property
Detailed cleaning of walls, skirtings, joinery, doors and frames throughout
Internal and external glazing and glass balustrades cleaning
Deep cleaning and polishing of all hard floors and surfaces
Full sanitisation of six guest bathrooms and staff amenities
Degreasing and sanitising commercial kitchen appliances and surfaces
Removal of protective films, paint, silicone and adhesive residue
Pressure cleaning of external decks, ramps, patios and accessways
Coordinated two-stage cleaning approach for maximum efficiency
Final presentation clean and handover preparation
